Welcome to the Manor House Lane Allotments!

Located in the Yardley area on Manor House Lane (B26 1PR), our allotment site has been a thriving community since 1973 (read more about our history). We have 93 plots, fostering a passionate environment for gardeners of all ages to grow their own vegetables, fruits, and flowers while sharing ideas.

Our facilities include convenient road access, water supply, toilets, parking, shop, and a community pavilion – all designed to enhance your gardening experience.

We take immense pride in our achievements, having won the “Best Allotment Site in Birmingham” (Robins Rose Bowl) 13 times and earning second place three times. Additionally, we’ve claimed the “Best Association” (Frank Carter Memorial Trophy) seven times, with two second-place finishes. In 2001, we were honoured with a Silver Gilt medal at the Chelsea Flower Show for our exhibit titled “Good Enough to Eat.” Moreover, our members continue to excel, with one earning a Silver Gilt Medal at the RHS Queen’s Silver Jubilee Show in 2012.

Each year, we host events that not only promote friendship but also raise funds for local charities. Our Annual Show is a highlight for many, celebrating the fruits of our labor and creativity.
